K.I.T.T. - Knight Industries 2000 (4-wide) . A 4-wide model of the 1982 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am as seen in the TV show "Knight Rider" with David Hasselhoff. . When I first thought about American cars to build, one the first cars that came to my mind was K.I.T.T., the only TV car that was even better than James Bond's cars. KITT was like THE protagonist of the TV show saving Michael's life almost in every episode. Essentially, KITT is a 1982 Trans Am, so I tried to get as close to that model as possible. Of course, there is the red alternating light strip on the front, KITT's scanner. This was the most challenging part of this model. The rest was quite easy compared to other models I've built. No SNOT, no tricky parts usage, just getting the right shape. I positioned the tiles on the top like the shape of the T-top. And on the rear end there is the small spoiler. So this is my 4-wide LEGO K.I.T.T. (Knight Industries 2000) from the classic Knight Rider TV series. After all, the biggest challenge with this model was to get the shape right. Now it's up to you to judge if I have succeeded :-). Update December 30, 2012: Some new photos... And this one: Turbo Boost! :-)) These are the new photos for my 4-wide LEGO K.I.T.T. Enjoy them... :-))
