5867 Musclecar . This musclecar is my 14th alternate of Creator set 5867 Super Speedster. . Together with the GT alternate, this was one tough build. A musclecar was already a while on my 'to do' list, but so far the attempts were not satisfying. Therefore it took me multiple building sessions together with some dedication to get to this result. The hardest part again was to give this vehicle a convincing iconic shape, and not make it look like any other generic car. My main source of inspiration was the Mustang, and I think the final result turned out pretty decent. A shot showing the rearwindow, with a smooth transition to the trunk. This profile picture shows some nice characteristics with the big bumper on the front, the curvy styles on the back, and the high rear end. The doors swing open to get inside. The cool part is that the mirrors are attached to the doors this time, so they swing along, which can also be noticed in the next picture. The agressive frontend with the extra airintake on the bonnet to provide the big engine with enough oxygen. The rear part is pretty high and has all the necessary taillights like reverse, brake lights and indicators. From the top we can see the white stripe in the center which continues on the back. And a bottomview, in case people are interested. Vrooom... VRRROOOOOMMMM. The big exhaust pipes make a lot of noise. Time to hit the road again!
