Davy Crockett . To Americans: You all know the story of Davy Crockett. THE BEST Frontiersman, an amazing shot with a rifle, and a brave Alamo defender. . Davy, Davy Crockett, king of the wild frontier! To other nationalities: Davy Crockett was a wild frontiersman. He a figure of American roughness and toughness. People say he killed a bear when he was three, or that he shot the moon. Of course these were fake, but he was so legendary, they seemed true. He fought in the Creek Wars (a war where we battled indians, or Native Americans, for territories.) After those wars, he became a politician. He died while defending the Alamo.
