I Choose You! Episode 11 (A Pokemon CYOA) . Previously on I Choose You!, Leon infiltrated the Island Base, and hitched a ride via helicopter to Team Rocket HQ. Caleb, already in Rocket HQ, overheard talk of a security breach at Mt. Moon, and decided to investigate further. The breach was in fact D and Jaeger, who sabotaged Team Rocket's operations at Mt. Moon and defeated the infamous Rocket executive, Aidan Bryant. Presently, the two trainers are traveling via magnet train to Team Rocket HQ. Thus our story continues... .
D: Looks like we're here! Time to start looking for our stolen Pokemon.
Jaeger: Or not...
Rocket Security Guard: All right punks, return your Pokemon to their Pokeballs and come quietly!
D: Like that's going to happen. Take 'em out, Ivysaur!
A security guard's Beedrill attempted a twineedle attack against Jaeger's Scyther, but Scyther parried the move.
The blocked attack left Beedrill open for a devastating Slash attack.
Scyther clearly overpowered Beedrill, but was outnumbered and wasn't able to take on both Beedrill and Seaking at the same time.
Ivysaur, confronted with both a Magneton and Pinsir, had similar difficulties.
Backed into a corner, D and Jaeger hoped for a miracle.
???: Take them out with Surf!
Rocket Security: Huh?
A powerful surge of water flooded across Team Rocket and their Pokemon, weakening the entire group.
Caleb: And that, folks, is how it's done. You two should have gone South with me, look at all the trouble you've gotten yourself into!
D: Yeah, yeah, rub it in, Caleb. Good to see you again!
Jaeger: All right, you Rocket stooges! Get out of here, or your buddy gets it!
Rocket Security: Let's get outta here, these kids are crazy!
Jaeger: Well, that worked. Now what are we going to do with this guy?
Rocket Security Guard: Please, don't hurt me! I have kids to feed! Come on, I'm too young to die! *sob*
D: Your problems are over, Jaeger! I found a one-way train ticket!
Rocket Security Guard: Hey, come on, this isn't okay! Let me go, you brats! I'm afraid of these trains!
Rocket Security Guard: AAAAUUUGGGHHH!!!
Jaeger: Bon voyage! Adios! Have a nice trip!
Caleb: So what's down that tunnel, anyway?
D: No clue. We came from the other direction.
Pilot: Ground control, this is Fearow One, beginning our descent, over.
Radio: *Acknowledged, Fearow One. See you in a few, over.*
Pilot: Well, that wasn't too bad a flig- *ZAAAAP!* -urk!
Leon: All right, "Fearow One", let's see what you can do.
Rocket Grunt: Here comes the chopper, time to unload the cargo, gents.
Rocket Grunt: Wait, what the heck?
Fearow One, while a bit choppy from being flown by an inexperienced pilot, begins its descent... in a strafing motion.
Leon: Come on, you Rocket scum! Bring it!
Rocket Grunt: She's gone crazy! Run for it!
Leon: Eat lead, suckers!
Rocket Grunt: Yikes!
Leon: Looks clear enough to land... Wait, who's that?
???: You've failed me for the last time, you buffoons. This is how to take care of an air assault.
???: Golem, use Rock Slide!
Leon: Oh, -!
Caleb: All right, we should go right out of here, I heard some Rocket Grunts talking about some kind of weapon. If it is so important, maybe we can use it against them to find our Pokemon.
Jaeger: Sounds good to me. Let's go!
The three trainers begin to head down the hall, when a rumbling explosion is heard from the opposite direction.
D: What the heck was that? Should we check it out?
To be continued...
All right, everyone! Choice time! Remember, you can only choose if you are in the CYOA. If you aren't in the CYOA, you can still have an influence on how the story goes by joining the CYOA planning group (look for the link in the right margin).
Caleb, D and Jaeger: Two things have piqued your interest: the knowledge of some sort of weapon to the right, and a devastating explosion (probably having to do with Leon) to the left. You do not have to stick together, but it may help you if you come across more security.
Sorry Leon, no choices for you this episode. But hey, you got to fly a helicopter, right?
The choice is yours!
So sorry about the long wait, this episode is EXTREMELY late. A mix of procrastination, perfectionist-related frustration with my editing and photography skills, and video games have greatly slowed down this episode's progress. Hopefully, future episodes won't be quite so elaborate, but come out more frequently. Thanks for being patient, everyone! Don't forget to let me know what you think about this episode!
