Batman: Not a Laughing Matter. . Well, a new, even more awesome Superhero build by me. I must say, I really think my skills are improving. A lot. Anyway, enjoy, and of course comments and questions are welcome :D. . The original main image, but I decided to scrap it once I got the shot of, well, the main image you see now. A full length shot. Man, was this fun to build. I must've spent, what, 10 hours? In fact, I stayed up so late one night that my mom almost threw a SHOE at me, because she was so angry at how late I had stayed up... A nice little angled shot. The caped crusader watches, and thinks to himself...what would Superman do? I still have this from the original Batwing back in 2006. I'm impressed with it's condition. Looks almost like it just came straight out of the packet. Anyone want to buy? Kidding :D. A back view of, the caped crusader... dun dun duh.... The new Joker. I have to say, the new ones aren't that bad at all. I really just built this to show him off, but I mean, they are> pretty nice sets... Jack Nicholson anyone? Honestly, I think the old one is the Mark Hamill Joker sometimes... Once again, the caped crusader. One of the henchman. He's custom. I just took crazi's head from ninjago. I think a lot of the skeleton faces from ninjago are perfect for joker's henchmen. *EDIT: turns out I'm not the only genius who thought of this :). Some credit is due here to legoskf for also doing the same as well for one of his henchman, seen here. The Joker copter. though I prefer the old one, I like that they have this great play feature that lets you shoot a giant propane bomb. Nice stickers too. The wall. I think it looks great! Especially those jagged stone bits. Notice the beautifully done down-spout. Also, the cool new paper pieces from the catwoman chase set. More henchmen. Also, the left side of the alleyway. Cool attaching part. Notice the nice color co-ordination. I used light grey to indicate light, and dark grey for the sidewalk. The alley way is black. Perhaps I should've done the photography under some damp light.... The guy's girlfriend being taken hostage. "Come and get her, tough guy". Oops... someone must've got hit by those Joker bombs... My cousin insisted she do something for the vig. So, here's some smoke. She came over to hang out... but all I wanted to do was build this. So, she helped by making this and the couch. Afterwards, we agreed to watch When Harry Met Sally... I've never cried so ecstatically in my life.... A really well done ventilation shaft. An emergency vent. Ah, too... much... light... One more shot of the alley-way. Hey there, Mr. Kitty! HA! You didn't think that was all, did you? Oh no, there's much more to this than you see. I also did 2 detachable little vignettes as part of the whole. This one is the bank which the Joker and co. just stole from. A shot of the banker, with his great scared expression. Can't help but feel sorry for that guy. Look at the nice ATM though! I really like the wall pattern. This is my first time doing it, so I feel PRETTY proud. The ignorant family. I included them to show you guys just how neglected a hero Batman is. The families are completely oblivious to his work as a vigilante, and no one says thank you. I rememebred that a few weeks ago I thanked a police officer coming out of the library, as she was just doing some routine check ins. She asked me why I said thank you, and I told her the exact same thing. I've never seen someone smile like that before. The dad, looks a bit like mine, minus the mustache and lumberjack shirt. Can anyone see the nice cushions? The mommy. I have no idea where I got the baby idea from, so if anyone can tell me, that would be nice thanks. Always give credit where credit is due ;). Man, I think I did such a great job with the T.V. too! The living room, figure-less. Bank, figure-less. Notice all the snot I did, for both the inside and outside :D. The minifigures. Most I made myself, but feel free to copy any if you like them. No, you don't have to give credit :). I don't know why, but he seems to be my favorite figure. I just think the hair, suit and face all work really well together.. or am I just crazy? "That's all, folks!" Wait, Batman.... smiling? No wonder people say this year is going to be the end of the world :P. My new shooting space. It took me ages to look up and realize where the best source of white light was...
