Advanced Customization Pt. 4: Hand Weapons for the UXM-1.T . In the Colaborative; Very few Humanoid Mechs can be seen without Hand Weapons. Dragonstar Technologies has developed a Standardized Frame for UXM-1 Firearms, Energy Weapons, and even Repair Equipment. Here are all of the weapons/accessories that use this frame as of yet.
The most Basic Mini Mech weapon is the Mag-Pellet Gun. The PG-101 magnetically accellerates metal pellets to just short of the speed of sound. Thusly, PG-101s make excellent Blunt Impact weapons, Allowing an Officer-Grade UXM-1s to hold enemy mechs off just long enough to make it to higher ground. PG-101s are often used in pairs.
In case the PG-101 proves to be insufficient in the defensive role, One could allways equip one's mechs with Submachine Guns. The MG-121 is rather self-explanitory.
In the battlefield, the most common Mini-Mech weapon, by far, is the Assault Rifle. In particular, Bloc.30UXM-1s use the Ar-130.
The AR-130 can be modified to act as a sniper rifle. (in which case it becomes the SR-130)
In Close Range combat, the more the punch the better. Shot Guns pack Plenty of Punch. Shown here is the SG-145. Nuff Said.
As DragonTech's experimentation in energy weaponry continues, new principles are explored. DragonTech's most recent venture has resulted in the invention of the Electron-Pulse Emmitter. This has lead to the development of the EPX-150 Twin-Emmitter Pulse Rifle. The EPX-150 has a Very high rate of fire, and the Pulses are intense enough to interact with chemical bonds. Electron-Pulse Technology's greatest advantage as a weapon is that it Ionizes, Polarizes, Short-Circuts, and otherwise Overloads tha target's Electrical Systems. Similarly, it is also effective against organic targets' nervous systems.
The frame used here isn't strictly for weapons. Recently, XT developed an Aerosolizable, Gelatinous, Metalloid which can be used as a quick patch for damaged Mini-Mech Armor. Thr Specialized Projector for this gel has here been adapted for the DragonTech Weapon Frame as the RD-167.
