Why?
Red Hull Ship . Anyone that said you can't use boat hulls for spaceships doesn't know what they're talking about. SO THERE. . Status: Intact, for now. Really, this is just me trying to get back into building again after almost a year of nothing to show, and to get this idea I've had for a while but never got around to doing. Seriously, you have these big pieces with lots of studs to connect to, and no one ever uses them for anything else than boats? Come on, people! Boats are just space-ships that can't reach orbit! I gotta admit, I really like how that color scheme worked out. Damn, red with dark grey trim and trans-dark blue makes for some shiny sexiness. This is a big exercise in SNOTing the interior enough to hold together, while still making it open enough to get your hands inside to connect the pieces. Although it doesn't aave an engine in the back or landing gear, I could make it work if I really felt like trying harder. This is mostly just a shell with some light grebbling to make it look better. There's the pilot! He has no chair to sit in, nor any working controls, but who cares! That nose... the way it sinks into the frame while still just managing to stand out... Look at that shape, those curves, that color scheme. It's the prettiest looking tin can out there!
