1971 Ford 'C' Type Gelo Racing car transporter . With instructions!!!! . My second MOC for the Classic Race team group. This time a race car transporter that hopefully is just as beautiful as the other transporters. Next on my list is building a Ferrari 512M to fit in it. This truck is by FAR the biggest (non-Technic) vehicle that I have ever made. It's 58 studs long, 22 studs wide and 28 studs (not plates) high. The truck weights about 3 KG. It is so 'light' because of the SNOT I used. The truck has: - Opening doors from the cabin - Working V8 engine - Adjustable cabin seats - 4 storage bins - Opening doors to the car area - Working steering - Removable roof - Opening tailgate The SNOT technique not only makes the truck lighter, it also makes is easier to do the writings on the side. It says: Ferrari 512 Gelo Yeah, I know that on the real car stands: Ferrari 512M Gelo Racing team but that was just to long for me to create with Lego... :/ Everything opens on both sides. I also filled the storage bins with some things Did you recognise the Ferrari logo? It was really hard to do and I'm not sure if it looks good. Of course the rear ramp opens. The lower 'deck' will fit cars up to 20 studs wide, but the than the cars can't be very high. The upper 'deck' fits car up to 18 studs wide that can be a little higher than the lower cars. Please note the steering knob. The top box also fits a lot of stuff. Together with the parts from the parts from the storages bins on the side the truck will fit: 4 spare tires, 2 gas cylinders, some fences (small & big), a box with tools, a crate with more tools, a cart with even more tools, a bin with a broom and shovel, a cart with chaines, a spare steering wheel, the engine for my Ferrari 512M (until I start building the car) and 2 cars (not builded yet.....). And now some photos of the transporter and the car together. I also added the LDD file. I couldn't do everything about the cabin right (doors, mirrors, headlights, engine), but you'll be able to do that yourself by using the photos. Don't forget to tell me your opinion or rate!! :-D
