In the ring . A small Wulfgard(Created by Saber-Scorpion and Maverick-Werewolf) build, and a showcase of my Wulfgard Sigfig - Lieutenant Josiah Wolfenius... Oh, and also to showcase my wall... . On business in Caltha with his Centurion, Lieutenant Josiah Wolfenius accompanied his commanding officer and a Legionnaire, Linus Antion, to the Gladiatorial rings, where they found front row seats. Considerably disgusted at the bravado and cheering of the people at the death of men and beast, he asked his Centurion “If the people had such a lust for blood why didn’t they simply join the Legions, there they would even participate in the slaughter of man.” Even though he knew the reasons before he asked. The remark threw several drunken men into a rage, and they surged forward toward Wolfenius, not expecting the push from behind both Wolfenius and Linus Antion fell forward into the Coliseum. Fortunately for them both they still had all their arms with them. Many gladiators longing for fresh blood ran toward the pair, only to be slain by the well trained soldiers. The fight was stopped as guards entered the ring to escort Wolfenius and Antion from the ring. Since the men responsible for the act had already fled no charges were held against them, but Josiah and Linus were treated well and asked by the Duke to feast with him. At the feast the Duke rose to toast to the two fighters and their prowess in the ring, with thirteen dead and nary a scratch upon the pair, but Wolfenius rose to refuse the toast, he considered it a tragedy that thirteen men, all fit for combat, had to die by a fellow citizen of the Empire, that the men dead in the ring could have had more to live for then a gold cup, instead he toasted to the Emperor and his health. Silence reigned in the hall as all drank to the Emperor. Little else was said that evening until the Lieutenant and Legionnaire left the hall, the Duke was embarrassed and in a rather bad mood due to the Soldier’s speech and his mood was felt by all, and no one wanted to risk the Duke’s ire. - A lot of text for a tiny build... Just like me... With out figs. I really like how the wall turned out, if I had the peices I would finish the entire section of the Coliseum. A partig shot of Lieutenant Josiah Wolfenius.
