The Hobbit: Dwarf Thorin Oakenshield . My Arkenstone! . "...like a globe with a thousand facets; it shone like silver in the firelight, like water in the sun, like snow under the stars, like rain upon the Moon!" That is the Arkenstone, the treasure he seeks! Way To Go Uncle! You are my Hero! But is Thorin Hero or Villlian… perhaps, a Tragic Hero? From Hero To Villian Then BACK Again! 4th wall: The Arkenstone was a great stone. An ancestor or Thorin’s, Thrain I, found the rough stone at the roots of the Lonely Mountain. The Dwarves cut the stone into a gem that reflected light in many colors. Thorin was revised and I added new pictures on August 22, 2012. So Thorin no longer is pictured sitting on my stovetop. He sits on a LEGO canister now!
