1980 Opel Manta GT/E . Opel Manta GT/E GSI 1980 Technic large mid size scale supercar . The ruling affordable sports car of the 80's. The Opel Manta. Even I owned one. Norbert und die feiglinge and Die Ärste sang about it, and it was the main car in the movies "Manta der film" , "Manta Manta" and not to forget "New Kids". A car very popular to own.......20 years ago yet not popular to build in lego. The hardest part was to put the engine as low as possible and make the steering work. Normally this wont be an issue but it does when the car is a 15 wider. This car features: 4 cylinder engine; front wheel steering from the cockpit; 2 speed gearbox; rearwheel driven. opening hood, trunk and doors.
