There's No Place Like Home for the Holidays . I built this scene for the LEGO Santa Yoda contest that was held in December 2011. . This is a Christmas scene I created in December 2011depicting Christmas Eve at Han and Leia Solo's house. I covered the baseplates outside of the housewith white plates to make it look like snow. I also made sure there was a lot going on in the scene to make itinteresting. I encountered a couple ofchallenges while building this scene such as how to build Christmas lights andhow to build a Christmas tree that actually resembled a Christmas tree. I think I came up with good solutions tothose problems though the Christmas tree does need work. All in all I consider this one of my bestcreations, partially because I paid attention to color.
