Carrier Cruiser . This is my version of an as yet unnamed Carrier Cruiser. I started completely from scratch and just built what I thought looked good and this is the end result! 77 studs long, 32 wide and approx 15 tall and took about 1 week of spare time to complete. . Lets begin the tour, first a couple of wide angle shots..... Close up shot of the main bridge, you can also see at the very front of the ship its main offensive weapon, 5 anti-capital ship missle tubes. There are also four more tubes, two on each 'Wing' A close up of the engines. I spent ages trying to decide on the layout for the engines. When I finally attached them in this layout I decided they could do with a bit more armour as they looked a little exposed. I also wanted to make sure that they did not cover the Hanger entrance as well. This shot shows the entrance to the hanger, you can see inside there is a doorway into the rest of the ships interior. A shot of the Greebling just behind the bridge, shows the main communications array, anti fighter batteries (of which there are a total of 12, 8 above, 4 below) and the main anti capital ship guns (two either side) This tower which is midships is where some of the crew hang out and is for entertainment, mess hall etc. Also a good shot of the shield emmitters (which are the long technic pieces on each side) The Hanger Command Decks, protected by 4 of the 12 anti fighter batteries and its own shield emmitters (dead centre picture. This is where all incoming and outgoing fighter/transport traffic is co-ordinated. It is houses the main sensor arrays for detecting all craft, friendly or hostile. More anti capital ship weapons, 4 each side. Can also see some of the sub-light engines (red) The underside of the ship, more sub-light thrusters and on the main part of the vessel can see the four main cargo bays Rear of the ship, rear entrance to hanger and a shot of main engineering. Final wider angle shot of the rear of the ship. Hope you like! This is my first creation purely from my own imagination and I am very pleased with the outcome. Btw, any suggestions for a name will be greatly appreciated.
