Why?
"What about the R.O.U.Ss?" . . 2012 MocAthalon Team: Something SNOTy Category 8. The Princess Bride To set the scene... Westley and Buttercup have fled into the Fire Swamp to escape the nasty Prince Humperdinck. Buttercup falls victim to the Lightening Sand and Westley grabs a vine and jumps in to save her... meanwhile, unbeknownst to them (but knownst to us) the third horror of the fireswamp, an R.O.U.S (rodent of unusual size) wanders past. Yes, you sticklers of purity will notice I have fudged the timing of the scene by about 10sec for the dramatic, artistic purpose of having both Westley's hand coming out of the lightening sand and the R.O.U.S in the shot at the same moment. Ratty is approx 20cm long in real measurements -8 inches to all you other folks- from snout to butt (tail not-inclusive) and 13cm high. And he used up all my brown cheese slopes, (so please don't tell me the ground needs some brown cheese slopes), in an attempt to mimic the R.O.U.S's coarse fuzzy hair.
