Tarli Indim Heavy Fighter . Notes on Tarli Indim Heavy Fighter. Explorien Colony Forces. Starlog pd8 by Gavron Tornak. . Classed as heavy fighter on basis of average speed and manouverability with heavy weaponry. Each wing mounting 2x2 primary gun batteries, front mounting 2x1 secondary heavy lasers. Bottomside well protected, landing gear not visible. Note: a pair of tracks propably used for landing. Mid front is holding a gun bay. Wich makes the Tarli Indim capable of inflicting serious damage even to capitol ships. When gun hatch is open, we can clearly see the big weapons array within. The wide spread of propulsion mechanism makes the heavy fighter more agile and also more difficult to disable. In battle, our corresponding forces have been able to outmanouever the Tal Indim, altough not without difficulty. The concept of the forward extra-heavy gun array must be to let the Tarli Indim deal the damage to stations, capitol ships, carriers, and so forth with other craft as escort. It would make the Tarli Indim to an aliens equivalent to our bombers, except with the addition of a fighters firepower. Pilots are residing deep within the hull. As well protected as they can get. End note: Tarli Indim Heavy Fighter, not classed as bombing craft to avoid underestimation of it's dogfighting ability. Report further sightings to Colony Research, military department.
