"Hillbilly Time Cruisers" 2012 Mocathon . . Category: 21. Time Warp You have successfully invented a time machine that can take you just about anywhere in time! Do you travel into the future or history? You decide, as you show your time travel in a LEGO creation. Make sure you show us your time machine (so we can steal the design), along with the setting for the time travel. Team: "A MOCtley Crew" Mocathon For this category I made a scene in which the stereotypical American hillbilly accidentally time travels to the industrial revolution, New York city. It all started when old Joel was inventing a new corn powered engine for the annual tractor race. Why power it with corn? Well, because old Joel just so happens to be a corn farmer. He came up with a engine that went so fast, that it shot him into the past. The only problem is, he has no more corn to get back :P Here is old Joel in the middle of a cobblestone street that is in front of a newspaper company's headquarters. Here you see some newsboys buying their papers to sell. That diagonal ledge thing was really frustrating and took me the most time out of the whole build. I think it looks pretty good though. Also you can see another newsboy waiting in line with his little brother. The inside of the office, sorry the pictures are horrible. The upper level of the office is just storage. Some loose papers blowing about the area. Joel, his shotgun, and his corn. Thanks for viewing, Ben
