Why?
Imoor the dragon . . When it comes to creatures of fantasy Iīve dreamt of creating my first dragon for several years. My hesitation was a result of lacking the necessary skills and level of imagination. As a first step as with the most of my latest projects this one comes to life as a digital design. The main design was created in only 4 days time, some kind of a record for me! As you may notice Iīve included the outline of the bricks to show a more true to reallife look of the creation. This is obviously my first attempt at creating something like this and every comment you make is even more welcome this time around! Give it a moment and take a close look! Imoor consists of 1545 parts. Making a black dragon was not a hard choice as it is my favourite color. The neck design with twin locking hinges in between every section. The head would influence the rest of the dragon. The wings are really intricate, lots of trial and error to get it all together. Imoor is a quadrupedal dragon. Itīs the first time I use bionicle claws. Overview shot of the muscular spiky back...real proud of the clean result. Imoor is 90 cm in length. The end of the tail looks sharp and deadly doesnīt it? Flight mode! I think he looks like a true king of the skies...what do you think? The final picture of Imoor concludes this presentation! I certainly hope that someone likes this creation as this is my first take on fantasy! Regards Dave Benson
