Gate Fighter Mark I . A simple prototype starfighter based off of various sci-fi fighters . This starfighter was inspired by both the Babylon 5 starfighters and the fighters in the beginning of Lost in Space. I wanted to have sort of an x-wing design and a dome cockpit and this was the result. Those fence-type things came from Johnny Thunder's hot air balloon and I've always wanted to use them for something a little more futuristic. Sometime I intend to upgrade it with a larger cockpit and maybe redesigning the body a little. In hindsight it seems a little rough and it could use a good laser turret or something. I guess that's why it's Mark I though. I'm still learning how to take good pictures of my mocs but this turned out pretty good. My only problem is with the focus, which was made difficult due to its long supports.
