It's only rock 'n roll - but I like it . Rockin Rory Spaceman and the Astro-noughts are a band formed of the members of the Outer Reach Research Team. Primarily at first a Devo cover band the group have formed their own unique sci-fi straight-edge sound (being spacemen, only a straight edge ethic fits with their tough physical regime). Commander Rory leader of the band takes his vocal style from Leonard Cohen, whispering sweet melancholy space lullabies coated in gravel. Simon on bass wears his instrument low in homage to Mr Peter Hook. Sam on synth aspires to the high works of 70s Jarre. Ben on drums is simply called the robot. This is my entry to the out of your comfort zone contest moc-off round. The theme - humour. My talented opponent is Sir Balamorgineas (http://www.mocpages.com/home.php/40411) .
