Takua, The Chronicler . My entry for the 2012 Bio-cup. This was a rushed entry because I will have very little time over the next few weeks. . Ok, like I said, this is a really quick entry, and I may not make it past the eliminatories round, but this is only my first Bio-cup, there is always next year. Link to the Bio-cup. The first thing to come to my mind for the category revamp of an old character was Takua. I for some unknown reason still hold great respect and nostalgia for those McDonald's Tohunga, (did I spell that right?) matoran. At one point in time I had over twenty of them. I used to trade my friend for some of his sets using those little dudes, and we LOVED to shoot those disks across the room and we both became quite good at hitting targets. In respect for those little sets I made this. The original Takua. I never actually did get to own this guy, I always got Hewkii or Kongu. My take on the little guy. Here he just stands. Hi all. Ta-da. Hey creator? Yes Takua? Can I do some fun poses? I'm a little bored just standing. Not yet, we have to take some close ups. Ok... His back. I really could have armored it a little better. But alas, I do not have the time to take more pictures, or fix him for that matter. Can I do fun poses now? Not quite, we have to do a few more close ups. Ok... Aww, whats wrong? I am bored, I want to have some fun... Aww, come on, I just need a few close ups of your arms and then your good. Ok? Yay! His disk arm. Holding a disk. Unfortunately I have NO idea how to get it to launch from his arm like the original so I settled for being able to hold a disk and being able to bend backwards like the original. His other arm. Holding a Kau Kau Staff. I read somewhere that he had one, so I made a simple one for him. Standing while holding both items. Can I pose now? Yes, now you can pose. Yay! Pose! Bending back to let fly the disk. Launch! *bang* *bash* *clang* *crash* *meow* *boom* *crash, crash, crash* *ominous explosion* .........O_O........ Oh dang..... *Whistle* I'm just gonna- -RUN!!! A little while later... Takua? Yes... Did you do that? Yes... Oh please, oh please, oh please forgive me!! I didn't mean for anything to happen!! it was an accident!! That's ok, I forgive you. My neighbors never really liked their cat anyway. Or their yard... On second thought, maybe we should go over there an apologize... Anyway, it's ok. Yay! Bye guys! Creator's Comments: I could have done much better, but I am still happy with the results. Here's hoping it gets gets me somewhere! Thanks for viewing!
