Irnakk, Bane of the Skakdi . My entry to round one of the Biocup! . "Now what. Do you kill us?" "Where is the fun in that, says I? Alive, you can fill the air with the music of your screams. Dead, you are just silent meat." — Zaktan and Irnakk, Inferno Name- Irnakk Gender- Male Species-???? (Skakdi Appearance) Allegiance- Himself? Titles- Mythological figure, Master of fear, Bane of the Skakdi Abilities- Irnakk's vision power can remove a physical being from the world and make it an object of pure thought within the mind of the nightmarish being. There is little chance of survival once part of his sick, twisted thoughts and madness. If one were to survive and regain his physical being again (at Irnakk's will), he would retain very little sanity, due to the torment of Irnakk's mind. Another of Irnakk's abilities caused the targets worst fear to manifest itself in reality. Tools- Irnakk has a Zamor Launcher adorned with Skakdi skulls and his body can hold extra Zamor Spheres. He could contain his fear-conjuring ability in a Zamor Sphere, and launch it at his targets. Bio- The Irnakk creature was conceived by the Skakdi rulers of Zakaz. In contrast with the way Turaga would tell Matoran stories of Toa to give them hope, the Skakdi rulers created the legend of Irnakk to fill their subjects with terror. In the tales, Irnakk would come and destroy entire towns before moving on. When the Piraka got close to the Kanohi Ignika, they entered a chamber that pulled their worst nightmares from the minds and made them real. After descending the staircase leading to the Mask of Life, Hakann was struck with one of Irnakk's Zamor Spheres, causing him to lose control of his heat power. When the others encountered Irnakk, they attempted to flee. Before they could, Irnakk hit all but Zaktan with Zamor Spheres, causing their worst fears to come to life. While the others were occupied, Irnakk absorbed Zaktan into his mind. Irnakk told Zaktan that he was lucky to be on the titan's mind, for if he chose to think about something else, Zaktan would not even exist as a thought. While inside the terror's mind, the green Piraka learned that Irnakk was an illusion made by the Ignika. He also learned that as long as his fear existed, Irnakk would exist. Moments later, Irnakk dispelled Zaktan from his mind. Zaktan then proclaimed that he would destroy himself as well as the other Piraka to end their fear, the process destroying Irnakk. Irnakk laughed, believing the Piraka feared death as much as they feared him; Zaktan responded that the horrors he had experienced during his time as with the Dark Hunters had changed him, claiming to be the embodiment of fear himself. Irnakk was impressed with his use of fear as a weapon, admitting he had begun to fear death because of it. Irnakk then disappeared from view, allowing the Piraka to pass. Thanks go to bio-sector 1 for that info! Official picture for comparison. Full body front. Love how this turned out! Full body back. Love this too! Torso from the front. This is one of my best and it’s poseable. Upper arm. It’s simple because I tried to make Irnakk look more skakdi like so I gave him simple upper arms like the piraka. It’s probably my least favorite part of this moc, but it’s OK. Giant hand. Fits zamor spheres just like the original. Sphere launcher. It has skulls just like the original. I made them hanging from chains, just because it’s cool! Waist deign. I really like this design, it’s an adaption of Mr. Heffernan’s design. Upper legs, credit for this goes to Toa Phosphorous. Once again they are simple to make him look more sakdi like. Lower legs, bulky and skakdi like. Back of the legs, I love the stars armor there! Back, I love this. I don’t know if you can see it but there’s a rahkshi back in-between the spine and the body. I love how that piece looks there! Whole body again. He looks just like I imagined! Poses! Awesome poster shot! About to add another skakdi skull to his collection. The original had that foot piece for a claw, so I made it bigger! What do y’all think? Alternate form! With saws! I like him this way. (judges should judge first form) Top of shoulders. I managed to fit zamor spheres in there, just like the original. Another shot of shoulders. Skakdi group photo! Love this shot! Comparison with my self-moc Infernum. He got upgrades and more red!!! Spider legs represent veins. I love this heartlight idea! Upper arms got black armor and trans piece. New lower arm design! Bottom of lower arms. New lower leg armor! Creator’s comments I liked Irnakk’s character, so I rebuilt him! The idea of bionicle mythology is awesome! The original was a little… erm… lacked a color scheme. So I gave him a more precise color scheme, black and gold. I also made him more skakdi like appearance, after all most characters in human mythology similar to Irnakk are human like. One thing that made him different was his giant hand, so I supersized that! I love how he turned out! He’s stable too, especially in his alternate for. Anyway next up is an old moc you guys will love, and he’s a dark hunter! See you next time! ;D
