MercedesBenz-concept speedster . One more Mercedes from me. This time I've decided to create a model of my own. In other words to design a model. I intended this one to be the Heir to the throne of the 1934-Mercedes-Benz-540K-Autobahnkurier kingdom. I wanted it to be futuristic and retro at the same time but also lighter than the 540K model I've done simply because I wanted it to drive via remote controls and it does that very well I have to say. Now as for these functions they are not something new in a technical sense but I did make it as compact as I could. For instance the battery box is under the seats, driving motor is on the far back side, steering motor is right in front of the battery box and the sensors are placed between windshield and the hood. So you can't actually know if this thing actually drives because it certainly doesn't look like all this fits into it considering the design. Ah yes and there are also lights and their switch. You'll also notice a whole lot of parts that are not always applicable but they sure came in handy for this. As for the video - It's just there to prove that it really does drive via remote control. This is the first time I've encountered Adobe Premiere pro and I've just started to get the hang of it, so you'll notice it don't have any sounds. The camera on the phone is mono and I just haven't found a way to make it stereo and the software just won't recognize it, but what the hell. At least it shows the functions. . As you can see the cockpit has a glass roof Wheels as you can see are kind of detached from the body. They have their own mudguards, actually they are covered in mudguards (I thought it'd be cool) so the only thing you can see turning here is a Mercedes logo on the wheels. Ah yes and there's also independent suspension system This is how steering looks like Steering wheel is visible here. It turns with the wheel. A little touch of reality Doors and light. Lights have a switch at the center of the dashboard And there it is alongside the rest of the controls, blibs and blobs Ah yes, the heart of every vehicle. I thought that under the front hood there could be some kind of energy generator that compresses a lot of energy making this thing go fast for miles and miles without recharging and at the back there is the real technic motor. Everything opened
