Magnus Magpie . . Meet Magnus the Magpie, the seventh and last addition to my British Bird Series. I have started a new series of birds so the British series is on hold (for now). Magnus was great fun to build and I'm happy with the way he turned out. I have copied a Magpies character as best as I could with LEGO. I'll let you judge for yourselves. As with most of my other birds, Magnus manages to balance on his own two feet. I managed to give Magnus an opening beak and think it looks pretty good :-v Magnus is a cheeky bird, when I wasn't looking he managed to raid my minifig accessories and steel a nice shiny sword. I hope you like him. I found this website that has some interesting points about the history of the Magpie superstition "Good Morning Mr. Magpie, How's your wife today"? I have build four new birds for a secret new series. All will be revealed soon, I am waiting until I have completed the whole series until I post them here and I'm hoping they'll have the same effect as the British Bird Series. If you like these birds and would like to have one of your own please take a couple of minutes to support The CUUSOO LEGO Bird Project To all of you that have supported so far, thank you very much but there is still a long way to go so please help me to spread the bird.
