Why?
The Death of Socrates . My next MOC in my series of "famous paintings and photographs." "The Death of Socrates" is a 1787 painting by the French painter Jacques-Louis David. The painting depicts Socrates, the Greek philosopher, condemned to die by drinking hemlock. He is surrounded by mourning friends and students. . This was a rather challenging painting to recreate. The scale was rather odd to work around. Tell me what you think! The original painting. Stay tuned for #4! Next MOC in series. Previous MOC in series. MOC by Lego Builder Senior
