Go Samus, Go! . Three months of pure procrastination. . Kay, so gotta go ahead and give my inspiration kudos to two of my favorite builders, Cam M. and F-ZERO's #1 Fanatic ! Cam pretty much owns the Lego hardsuit field, and F-ZERO has really gotten me fired up about Metroid lately with his awesome MOCs. Check these guys out if you haven't already!
Initially, I had wanted to make a little custom Samus minifig, but I couldn't stop there! I tried to make a dio of one of Metroid's infamous self-destruct scenes, but rather than a raging maelstrom of fire 'n brimstone, my makeshift "explosion" came out looking more like a bomb or something, so I just went with that. So yeah, on that note, on the MOC!
We find the galaxy's greatest bounty hunter examining yet ANOTHER space station, when--all of the sudden--a planted explosive detonates in one of the station's corridors. Looks like somebody's after Samus... again...
