Twister! . A little vignette I built. I was aimlessly fiddling with Gandalf's hat, and I happened to turn it upside down and thought, "That looks like a tornado". So I whipped up this quick microscale build. I have more ideas for this technique, expect to see more of it. Just a note, the main pic is SUPPOSED to be blurry, tornadoes whip up a lot of dust. . Another, slightly less blurry pic. I still like the main pic better, although I like the angle on this one better. Here you can see the cloud and tornado better. The overall build. Road, car (the yellow thing), trees and barn. Note the dust cloud around the base of the tornado. Back of the vig. There is a silo behind the barn, also note the trail the tornado is leaving. You can see how I held the storm cloud up, I artfully hid the support in the main photo by positioning the vig just right. A better view of the support. The cloud and tornado. Just a quick build. How I attached the hat, because the way it's made, the hat is tilted on a minifig head, so I had to make a tilted bracket. FOURTH WALL: I have several WIPs and finished models waiting to be photographed, I whipped this up between projects. I am feeling lazy about taking pictures and uploading large models that require lots of pics, so some will probably be coming soon. Please rate and comment.
