Journey part 1A, an interlude . . Day 40: It's been a few days since my last entry, once I got a couple of miles into Arizona, I hit pay dirt, big time. Still no people, but an old junk yard. I also found a welding kit, it was too bulky to take with me but I managed to weld an already seperated side car to my bike, at the junkyard they had an old vending machine, it was full of bottled water! Safe water I might add too, I broke that sucker open lickity split and stocked up on water. . A quick tire change, and some other slight modifications, and my new bike was ready. Shes steadier, that's for damn sure. I should be hitting a city in a couple of days, my gas will last 2 days,
