Forest Duel for the Children . A ranger, on a mad pursuit to rescue his wood maiden love, is distracted by children crying deep in the forest... . Brave little ranger... It's really quite honorable of him. His lovely wood maiden was stolen by nasty thieves. On the way to rescue her, he heard children crying deep in the forest. Upon coming up to the orcs clearing, he saw the three children. Three lives? Or one love? You tell me, but it appears his choice is made. I give credit to Derfel Cadern for the vine techniqe. His ingenious idea. Orc poop. I know it looks nice and rich, you know, like garden fertilizer. Don't use it. A poor widow in the town tried it innocently, and her garden would never grow anything again. Orcs have this thing about keeping skeletons around... And bones too apparently. They're not the neatest eaters. Me smart frog. Me hide. Me stay alive. Ribbit! He was a good sparrow. He made sure it hit an orc on top of the head, not the ranger. This was also at Brickworld 2012. (It didn't travel well, not for all my packing care. 'Course, on the second day somebody sort of knocked up my giant oak in the second to last picture... I love conventions!)
