Give Peace A Chance . Faced with imminent attack by enemy forces, Sir John of Lennon tries a new tactic ... .
"Peace, is that too much to ask for?"
Sir John's archers wait anxiously to see if the gambit works.
The troops of Emperor Moveslike Jagger press forward with a chorus of "This ain't no place for a street fightin' man!" and "I'll never be your beast of burden."
In case the plea for peace fails, Sir John was smart enough to place his staunchest knights (Paul, George, and Ringo, perhaps?) behind the drawbridge in case Jagger's forces breach the gap -- they never will, btw.
The fortress front, sans bridge. If I can get my hands on some blue baseplates, then build would look so much better. Alas, that probably won't happen and I'll use blue construction paper or cloth beneath this at the show. It'll still look good, methinks.
A shot of Jagger's force massing for the attack.
This build is for an upcoming event I have been invited to in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This isn't the only thing that I'm taking, but I was inspired to build this when I picked up the hippie collectible fig about a week or so ago. Considering that nearly all of my gray is taken up in this and another, as yet to be revealed, build, I think I still have enough pieces to make next week's episodes of Glomshire Knights. Yikes, I'd better get on that!
