Protection . I am still on vacation, and still building with limited bricks, mainly from the sets Shelob Attacks and The Mines of Moria. This is another MOC starring the Wanderers, first introduced in my last post (found here: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/338217). .
As Prince Grathhem’s reign turns uglier and uglier, Wanderers, old and young, find new ways to display their chivalry, honor, and protective force. However, Grathhem has now rewarded his most ruthless followers with the title of “ist.” This royal position gives privileges and the power to silence any who even minutely speaks out against the Prince. Now, the Ist of Grum has been sent to retrieve the Cornet of Aedic from a peasant named Talgin. The Cornet of Aedic was rewarded to Talgin’s family by the kings of old as a token of royal recognition. For years, the horn has been passed down from generation to generation, but now Grathhem yearns for the Cornet to be the crown jewel of his treasure trove. As the Ist of Grum and his men approach Talgin’s small home, Ohrshipe, a Wanderer known for his lethal swordsmanship, appears on the path before the Ist’s force. What will ensue?
Here stand Talgin (left) and Ohrshipe (right) fighting the Ist’s men.
Talgin’s family watches him defend their homestead. If you are wondering why Mrs. Talgin looks too placid, it’s because that was the only female head I brought with me. Sorry.
Talgin clobbers one of the Istful men.
Ohrshipe crosses blades with another of Grathhem’s servants.
A bored chicken (above).
Inside Talgin’s hovel.
Centered above is the Ist of Grum, protected by two of his guards.
The MOC un-figged. My Pictures weren’t as good this time, mainly because this MOC was bigger than my last one.
Hidden inside Talgin’s well is the Cornet of Aedic.
The Ist and his men.
Talgin’s family and Ohrshipe.
Thanks for viewing! Soli Deo Gloria.
