Dex Class Armored Shuttle . An armored shuttle designed for strike teams... . I was recently inspired to try my hand at some sort of shuttle, or armored transport. Most of what Iíve built has been in the realm of a one-man starfighter, and I felt like I needed to add something that strike teams and commandos would use to my fleet. This is the result: I call it the Dex Class Armored Shuttle. Kudos if you catch the Stargate reference. (Iíve been watching Stargate Atlantis recently.) This started out inspired slightly by Puddle Jumpers, but I tweaked the design in my head someÖI made them a little more armored, with a few more offensive capabilities. Most notable of these offensive capabilities is the two gunnerís pods on either side of the shuttle: I also tried to design the cockpits so that the windscreens could be easily removed for better playability. I think Iím getting better with SNOT windscreens, but I still find it a little difficult to mount them sometimes. My standard crew: My sigfig likes to stick to gunning, so I needed a pilot for all of my creations. Possibly in the future, Iíll add future members to my sci-fi moc ďteam.Ē
