M.O. Round 1 - Ice, Ice Baby: Deep Freeze . . MocOlympics Category: Ice, Ice Baby August 3, 2018 Sacremento, California: It was the hottest summer in years. That's why everything is frozen. See, all these scientists were worried about global warming. They said the warmer summer was a result of our pollution. They said we had to do something before it was too late. Of course, not all of us thought things were as bad as people were claiming, but our opinion didn't matter much. In the middle of the night, two dozen scientists gathered in a secret laboratory to finish their untested climate modification device and "save the world". That device almost killed everyone in our hemisphere. The massive machine did something with moisture, condensation and reverse energy diffusion... technical stuff. All I know is, within a minute and a half everything was frozen solid. Beach-goers were literally frozen to ice before they could reach shore. I was one of the lucky ones; a janitor at the science laboratory. I had shelter and a parka when the cold hit. Now I'm left to wander the frozen land alone... to witness the destruction. I guess that's what happens when people play god.
