Zerenia . BCBS September round entry. The category was "full evolution", basically build a matoran, Toa, and turaga. This will have to be a quick-y, my teacher beckons. And you do not want to cross her... . Sorry for the bad photos. I took them all days apart, and the sun wouldn't give much light on all those days. Link to the BCBS. Oh yeah, and I couldn't get a pic of them all together since they required each other's parts, so I figured my buddy icon would do. There is a big one for anyone who ever wanted a closer look. Bio Name: Zerenia Species: O-Matoran (Elemental) Gender: Female Element: Gravity, Air, Shadow Kanohi: Altered Kamukaw, Great Mask of Emotions Powers: Control Over Gravity, Air, and Shadow Personality: Strong Willed, Extremely Protective, Very Caring, She Will Give Her Life for What She Feels Needs Protection Weapons: Staff Bio: Zerenia was never a normal one. As an Elemental, she, unlike most matoran, housed the powers of three elements. As matoran, Elementals have varied control over their three elements. The stronger the matoran, the stronger their power. But, when they become Toa, they revert to only one element. This elements powers are increased tenfold by being focused. When an Elemental becomes a turaga, they lose all elemental control, but regain the colors they possessed as a matoran. Many see Elementals as outsiders. They are rarely seen outside of their hiding places. Zerenia was different. As a matoran, she was exceedingly outgoing. She went to live with the Onu-matoran on Mata-Nui. It took several years for her to become accepted by the people. But after Zerenia captured a Nui-Jaga escaping from the archives, she became a hero. The turaga gave her a Toa stone. Her life as a Toa is widely unknown. Shortly after becoming a Toa, she was sent to see if they were any other weak points where something could escape down in the archives. A day after she went down, the entrance and many levels collapsed. The matoran dug and dug, but they found nothing. Zerenia was thought to be dead. After a farewell ceremony in the center of town, the people thought only of Zerenia in legends or fairytales. Zerenia discovered something in the archives. Something dangerous. A small hole in a wall. This hole was not your average wanna-be cavern. It gave off serious amounts of energy. As Zerenia investigated this hole a being appeared behind her. "What are you doing?" it asked. Zerenia jumped drawing her weapon and spinning around to face it. The being laughed, a deep hearty laugh. Zerenia looked at the young child before her. "Do you really not know what your looking at?" The child asked. Zerenia looked back at the hole. "It is dangerous to have this here. I need to close it. A portal of this size and power can only destroy things." She said. The child nodded. "Well. I know how to close it. But you'll have to trust me." he said. Zerenia looked down at him. She didn't think she should trust him, but if he really knew how to close the portal, he was worth listening to. "What must I do?" She asked. The child looked at her a moment before he began. "The portal is highly unstable. It you were you go through it, it would cause a power surge strong enough for it to collapse on itself." Zerenia thought the child was going to say that. "The power surge may also destroy this place!" She said. The child nodded. "It may. But it would do less damage than if you left this open." he said calmly. Zerenia looked back at the portal. "It is your choice. I merely offered a solution." The child said. Zerenia looked back to the child, a question popping into mind. But he was gone. No where. Only dark empty dirt was in that spot. Looking back at the portal Zerenia made up her mind. She dove through. No one saw Zerenia for two hundred years. But she was seen again. Two hundred years from the day she left, Zerenia was seen again. People stared in astonishment as Zerenia ran out from the mines carrying a worker who had been injured in an explosion. After all the workers were saved from the mines, the people gather around Zerenia. They were shocked, astonished, amazed. This was the Toa of whom legends spoke of. The one who died in the collapse. Celebrations and greetings went about. The people welcomed this legendary Toa back into their home. Several hundred years later, Zerenia's power was called upon again. A matoran had been attacked by a Bohrok and was dying. Giving up her place as a Toa she turned the matoran into a Toa. She became a turaga. As a turaga she protected the people with her wisdom. She guided them through the challenges that faced them. For four hundred years she protected them. She died, much to the grief of the people. She died peacefully and calmly. Only giving in to old age. The people all agree, that she went out in a way that she would have found most displeasing. She would have much preferred dying in action, to dying of old age on a bed. The people still talk of her in legends and tales. She is forever remembered for all the things she did to help the people. Well, that story kinda sucked given my usual standards. But I have no time. So, maybe I'll fix it in the future. Or not. Here she is as a matoran. This was the first form I made, and the one I based the rest on. Front. Back. I am quite happy with how she came out. She is incredibly flexible. See? Flexible. Pose! 'Nother show of flexibility. Standing without weapons. Final shot. So, now onto the Toa form. This one was largely based around the look of the matoran. I just though she should look like she did before, just bigger. I do want to state that the torso was inspired by Oblivious the Hero. After seeing this, I became very inspired. I was able to copy his design, but I changed several things purely out of personal preference. So, this is basically, inspired by, but not stolen from Oblivious. :P Back. And back to the front again. Pose! Pose! Without weapons. Girl-y kinda pose. Final shot. So, now we are on to the turaga. Yes, I know it's terrible. But I had so little time. When school slows down a bit I should be able to build a little better. Front. I actually kind like the way she looks. Back. Looking off into the distance. Pose! Hehehe... That staff is... Really pointy isn't it? *Gulp* End. Creator's Comments: Ooookkaay... So yes, this was terrible. I probably won't do well, but at least I'll have tried. Yes, the turaga body is just an altered version of the matoran. I was running out of time and pieces. I couldn't avoid using it. So, I believe I have really got to go. Class is on. Auf Wiedersehen!
