Liuss, the Tragic . . Once a young and studious scholar, Liuss was the epitome of a good Matoran. But war tore apart his village, and amidst the flames, the Turaga of the village gave the last of his power to save Liuss, and transform him into a Toa. Changed by the things he had experienced, Liuss was a sad and brooding Toa for many years, until he met three other Toa who had similar backgrounds of loss to his own. They bonded as a team, and in time Liuss became more like his old eager self. And on a baleful midnight, a band of raiders struck a growing city, and the districts fell one by one. And there, with the flames and the wreckage, the rest of his team out of sight, Liuss found a piece of himself; and it came along with a small Matoran trapped beneath the rubble. A being of lightning, she was, but Liuss saw a bit of his own qualities reflected there. And as he moved to aid the Matoran, one of the raiders returned to ensure the fall of the Fourth Last Hope, the Cunning, as it had been seen by the Order's creations; and Liuss fought him to the last. But both were downed by the raining fire; and as Liuss lay there, the Matoran he had tried to save freed herself from beneath the rubble, and went over to him. And then, for the first time in decades, Liuss smiled; and then the Toa of Magnetism was gone, and in his place was a Turaga, and before him was a Toa of Lightning. And he said go, and so she did; and then he was alone, with only the fire, and the dark, and the bodies of Toa and raiders alike. And again Liuss smiled, and passed on to Mata Nui. Matoran Liuss Toa Liuss Turaga Liuss Got a problem with the cryptic backstory? Don't like the bad grammar? Good. It's supposed to be artistic, and so I don't need no grammar. Anyway, there'll be more like it, leading into a project that I'm sure some of you will like. So, as you probably know by now, this is my September BCBS MOC, posted with about an hour and a half to spare. Thanks for viewing. ;) Oh BTW, since I didn't really like the Matoran or Turage forms all that much, I'm just leaving one pic of each up. And he's now a Toa of Magnetism, not Sonics... I decided it fit better with his color scheme. :P Oh, and this, for Marko. :P ->
