They are, in fact, harvesting the moon’s natural recourse, which everyone knows, is a plentiful supply of cheese!
They have Genetically Modified the cheese to grow up, above the ground, like wheat, rather than having to dig them out of the ground like clay.
The cheese ‘stalks’ are cut manually by workers…
Then thrown up onto a conveyer belt, into a large transport truck.
This ‘truck’ has treads instead of tires, as the moon is a rocky, uneven surface.
Driven manually by aliens, the cheese can transport easily and quickly.
The cheese is taken to a pick-up zone, where they are picked up, and placed in a large spaceship, where they can be transferred to factories.

A flightless bird, whose main food supply is cheese…
So some aliens have to be hired simply to keep them away! The birds are scared of noise, so motorbikes are necessary. (I would have build some speeders, but I got my dates mixed up, thinking the finishing date was TOMORROW! :1 )
