Taurus - Minotaur mecha LDD
Within the Medieval Universe, many non-human races hold their own territory. They often live in peace with humans, while some are in constant conflict.
The Minotaur are a race of half human, half beast, creatures. It is believed they are descended from a cursed human who was left with the nature of a beast. Now these half bull, half human creatures have an honour based culture that values strength and courage over intellect, they are quick to anger and often resort to violence to resolve disputes. It is not unheard of to see them brawling in taverns over which is better, yoghurt or cheese.
At some point in their history, they recruited human and dwalf engineers to construct armour, similar to that used by their neighbours, for the purposes of defending their territory from invaders. These massive beast like magically driven mecha are now a frequent addition to their border patrols.
Armed with a magical axe, capable of splitting rock like butter, and a fixed wrist mounted sword which is used for hand to hand combat.
They are noted for their speed, and taking advantage of the near indestructible horns on their chest armour to smash into targets, rendering them useless.
The only known weakness for these brutish mecha, is they are incredibly heavy, which means once they reach top speed, they are almost impossible to slow or stop. It is just as likely to see one of these brutes running off a cliff by accident, as it is to see one knocked down by an enemy.
