MO Round 2 MortalSwordsman vs Heath Flor . "It is a far, far better thing that I do, than I have ever done; it is a far, far better rest that I go to than I have ever known." . My Round 2 entry for the 2012 MocOlympics. My very talented opponent: Heath 'kik36' Flor. Category: From the Works of Charles Dickens: Choose a scene from one of Author Charles Dickens' classics and bring it to bricky life This moc is based on the book A Tale of Two Cities. The book is set in London and Paris during the French Revolution. It follows the lives of three main protagonists; Sydney Carton, Charles Darnay and his wife Lucie Manette. I have decided to depict final scene of the book where Carton has decided to pretend to be Darnay and to be executed in his place. He does this to atone for all his past wrongdoings and out of love for Darney's wife Lucie. My thoughts: Meh! This moc looked much better in my head than in the brick. I wanted it to look like an illustration in a book with the guillotine as the main focus of the scene. The figures and buildings are slightly out of focus to force the perspective, but I am not very pleased with the outcome. If you consider this worthy of comment please note that if you type ‘Dickens’ in your comment it will go to moderation haha. Any way I hope you like it, I don’t. Good luck in round 3 Heath ;)
