Minifig and Brick Storage Boxes . Not exactly a MOC: Some simple Minifig holders for my storage boxes, using mainly plates and slopes. . I wanted to have a storage systems for the special Minifigs that are not on the shelf in display boxes. I thought about using my usual storage boxes I use for the bricks. A 6x6 plate happened to fit perfectly at the bottom of the smallest container so it was the perfect base for the Minifig holders. There is enough space for two Minifigs in each box. I wanted to keep it as simple as possible so I just used 2x2 slopes of different heights for the holders. Here you can see two familiar looking minifigs attached to the holders (a 2x2x1 and a 2x2x3 slope, each with 2 studs on top). Here you can see a whole box filled with Minifigs. Some Minifigs like Loki are bigger, I put these into a bigger yellow container with a 12x6 plate at the bottom. For the Minifings without holes on the rear side of the legs like Hobbits and droids I added some 1x1 SNOT bricks on top of the slopes. For the "front row" I used 2x2x2 slopes for these holders. Even with the box closed you can see the Minifigs inside quite well. This is the box system I use for the storage of my Minifigs as well as for my new (post dark ages) LEGO bricks. There are 5 different sizes of containers which can be combined in endless variations inside the boxes. You can also buy empty boxes which only include the three grey parts on the sides. I use one of these for my Creator sets. It's like a LEGO system for storage boxes. Only the height is limited, so there are still some bigger parts that need an extra box The boxes are stackable for safe storage on a shelf. These are some of my boxes filled with bricks. I have about 15 of these boxes now... If you are searching for a part you can take the container out of the box and empty it. So there will be less scratch marks an the parts. This is how I store my Minifigs and bricks. I hope this might be helpful for some of you :-))
