Benny the Black-Crested Titmouse . . Introducing Benny the Black-Crested Titmouse the ninth bird for my North American Series of the LEGO Bird Project on CUUSOO A bird of Texas and northeastern Mexico, the Black-crested Titmouse is common in oak woods and towns. It was once considered a subspecies of the Tufted Titmouse, and the two species are very similar in appearance, voice, and habits. Titmice are acrobatic foragers, if a bit slower and more methodical than chickadees. They often flock with chickadees, nuthatches, and woodpeckers and are regular visitors to feeders, where they are assertive over smaller birds. Their flight tends to be fluttery but level rather than undulating. You’ll find Titmice in most woodlands below 2,000 feet elevation, including deciduous and evergreen forests. Tufted Titmice are also common visitors at feeders and can be found in backyards, parks, and orchards. Do you like Benny? If you like him please register and support The LEGO Bird Project on CUUSOO I still need over 6,000 supporters to reach my 10,000 goal so please help me to spread the "Bird" Thanks for stopping by and a big thank you to those who have taken the time to support my project already :-)
