Sensei Shifu's homepage
Sensei Shifu's awesome entry
Category: Telivishun is gooder then reeding! Take your favorite book or classic piece of literature and turn it in to a modern television show. It can be a sitcom, reality show, soap opera, cop-drama...whatever you want!
So, this is what I’m talking about my entry to the MIT. My category was that I had to create my favorite book/classic piece of literature and make it into whatever I wanted. I decided to let it be a reality TV show and this guy is asking questions.
The book I chose was The Secret School by Avi and I chose this book because it was one of my favorite reading books and it looked like a fun book to make out of real LEGOs. So enjoy the show!
CAST :
Mr. Faku (in blue suit)
Ida Bidson (girl)
Tom Kohl (the other guy)
Rat
Spider
"Dun dun dun! Welcome to Mr. Faku's reality TV show! Where we show people from books and put them on television! That seems weird, right? Well it's not so let's begin!"
"So these people are from the book, the Secret School. The two people that are shown right now are Ida and Tom, who are going to high school in the fall. But I'd thought to interview them before they go."
"I'm going to start talking with Tom. Hello Tom."
"Hello Mr. Faku. I need to tell you something; how the heck did you get your name? It sounds so absurd like. Maybe even inappropriate."
"Well, excuse me Tom, this comes from my long line of family. Grandpa Faku, Grandma Fake, etc. And... hey! Don't think of it that way." .-.
"Sorry Mr. Faku."
"It's fine, whatever. You got SWAG Tom?"
"Uh... yes Mr. Faku?"
*Mr. Faku laughs hysterically*
(BTW, if you didn't get the joke, it means "Secretly We Are Gay"...)
"So anyways Tom, what make you want to become an architect?"
"I like building with LEGOs and you can make almost anything with them. From pirates to Peter Griffin to Spongebob! It's a fun thing Mr. Faku!"
"Um... okay."
*Mr. Faku drinks his alcohol*
"Thanks for talking with me Tom!"
"No problem Mr. Faku!"
"Okay Ida, now I'll talk with you. Or should I call you Ms. Bidson?"
"Haha. No need for that."
"So you got a scholarship to a high school called "Steamboat Springs", is that correct?"
"Yes Mr. Faku."
"Well congratulations! It's an honor to be there Ida!"
"Thanks :)"
"Anyways, how was it like running your own class secretly? Was it fun? Was it horrible?"
"It was actually very tired, but it's something that I've always wanted to do in my future; but I'd never thought I'd do it when I was 14! The onl- wait hang on."
*Ida sips her coffee*
"Okay, now I'll tell you what was most difficult for me. It was one of my students, Herbert Bixler. He didn't do so well in school, but I have fate in him that he is fill with knowledge in is brain. But on the day of the exams, he didn't want to show up. I can't remember though. But other than that, it was very fun to teach the little ones, and Tom."
"Ah, I see Ida. Well thanks for-"
"AHHHHH! SPIDER! WTF WTF WTF?!?!?"
"Wait... what the heck Ida. A puny little spider? But I also see a rat under your desk."
"Great, thanks for telling me Mr. Faku. I'm going to get my broom from my little crate." .-.
*Ida with embarrassment after shrieking that loud*
"Well that's all for tonight. Stick around for next week's episode. Thanks Ida and Tom for coming here. It was a pleasure to have you guys here... besides Ida overreacting over a spider."
"Well, THANKS FOR VIEWING! "
This was loads of fun to write and build, good luck to Shifu and I hope you've enjoyed. Although I might have said the wrong info because I can't remember the info for this book. Still, it's one of my favorites. ;)
