GSX-K01 'Avalon' . The Avalon is a next-generation prototype Armor Frame. It was constructed and equipped to function as an all-range multi-role ground fighter. . The striking gold-on-crimson color scheme of the Avalon is meant to evoke the image of a romanticized medieval knight. Fixed armaments include a pair of 'Vanargand' anti-armor swords and hard-mounted 'Landsknecht' medium beam launchers. The Avalaon is also compatible with a wide range of commonly-used hand-carried AF armaments, which it may sortie with to expands its weapons compliment. The 'Landsknecht' weapons are the product of an ongoing research effort to produce high-performance combat AFs with integrated primary weapons. Having been built directly into the superstructure of the Avalon's forearms, these medium beam launchers have a direct connection to the energy circulation systems of the AF as well as better connection fidelity with the targeting sub-comp.
