Small 4x4 Hatchback . Inspired by my love of the Nissan Qashqai, I decided to create this. It's pretty simple. Just take a normal hatch, lift it, fit some grey bits on it and insert a 50-something driver. Job done. . So, this is the car. Pretty cool, right? It's REALLY simple. Simply take a normal City car chassis, build some of it in grey and some in white. I tried to use a sort of off-roady feel to it, and I achieved that by using 2x2 plates on the bearing pieces to lift the wheels from the chassis, and I used bley pieces for the bumpers, wheelarches and grille. As the car is lifted by one plate, it means that there is enough room for a hitch bar. I put another grille piece in between the licence plate and the top of the hitch, to make it look a bit more realistic. I used two bley cheese wedges for the rear bumper, and a translucent red 1x2 plate in the roof for the high-level brake light. The interior is much more simple than that of the aforementioned Qashqai. A yellow seat, a steering wheel and a door will suffice for our veteran minifig. However, if you want to maybe pretend that there's a satnav, and a CD radio, and leather seats, and whatever else, that's fine by me. Thanks for looking, check out my other projects!
