1981 Volkswagen Transporter D . This is my model of Air cooled Volkswagen Transporter.Lenght is reduced from 23 studs(original,Caravelle length)to 21 studs.I also swapped front lights to round ones.Pretty much everything else is exactly the same as my Caravelle, except,Transporter has one seat more than caravelle.I hope you like it!Please comment!;D . Side view. The wheelbase is reduced from 23 studs to 21 studs. Rear lights. In early 1981,The transporter only one rear light had reversing light space. My model's rear lights are actually working. There's also a german licenseplate from 80's B-DW 3820. Front end. There are round headlights and no second grill,as it has air cooled engine. Doors are opened.Side-sliding door and front doors can be opened like my previous model. Side view while sliding door is open. The interior is all the same.Only the floor is raised one block as it's in real VW. The interior now has 8 seats, not 7 as it was in my caravelle. Hubcaps on every wheel for a decoration and protection against dirt. The rear hatch really opens weirdly, but at least it stays open without problems :D Air-cooled Boxer engine, producing 37Kw and top speed is (with lots of pain and hard work)90Km/h. Upper signal lights, which were used on few Type2/T3 models on early 80's Body colour air vents. Antenna. Driver's side interior, with raised floor level. Rear end with working lights. Orange flashlight on the roof with two horns. Underbody. The car is actually on the glass table :) Engine under the car. Thanks for watching! Have a nice day!:D
