Why?
USCSS Nostromo . As i promised - here is the USCSS Nostromo in real bricks... ;-) A spaceship from the movie Alien I (Ridley Scott 1979) . For more infos click here After a long journey of over 3 month planing, making plans/partlists etc. i'm finished ! At the moment this is my biggest and (i think...) best MOC so far. O.k. 14 pieces left - but i couldn't resist to don't post that... ;-) I will change some pics, when the last order is here! Update 08.12.2012: the last pieces arrived me and so i uploaded some new pics ;-) ! It consist of over 9000 parts. I had to change some sections which wasn't clear in LDD that the stability wasn't strong enough - but i get it ;-) ! This lady measures: in length: 75cm in wide: 44cm in height: 24,5cm weight: anywhere between 5 & 6kg But now to the pictures... some details (changed) also under the docking module are pipes pipework next to the docking module (why did they make this 7 sided - ?? some detail of the engines, where you can see the different heights Here you can see the "little" (haha - one piece!) Narcissus which Ripley used to get away from the Nostromo. the lift to get in the ship some of many referenz pictures i found The model of the film Please Rate and comment ! and wow - i never thought that...: it is been bloged 4 times after one evening - seen at "The Lego car Blog" here and "The Brothers Brick" here and "Rebrick" here also seen on "Sweep the leg" here
