Why?
Crossley 18/50 Hot Rod . Because time is supposed to combust or something, Chinchilla Motors prepares to go out fighting. Very much so. . LOOSELY based on the Crossley, mind you. Should be about five studs longer. Make that seven. The side, with it's odd exhaust. Go paperclips! And pneumatic tube! The back, with some lights. Aerial view! The meaty V8. With red trim. The front doors open, and the back doors wishing there weren't racing slicks in the way. At this point in the program I shall wish you all a Merry Christmas! (Or Happy Festivus) Another random view, because it was cold and I lacked proper gloves. Or a hat. Really cold. Really quite cold. Intensely cold. Time to flee indoors..... .....And return with a hat and gloves! (I bet you think I'm kidding, don't you?) The interior does have a somewhat mechanical feel. The exposed shock towers. It's only a trailing arm/ live axle setup. Nothing too fancy. The giant shifter. Halfway through the build I realized my transmission was about 4 or 5 studs too far forward. Rather than move the whole thing I equipped it with some linkage from Big Ben. Interior view! Now with a side of cabbage! Hang on a tic... something doesn't sound quite right about that... oh, got it. It's a side of broccoli, my apologies. Cabriolet mode! One last view. Oh good lord my car has begun melting! It IS the end of time!!!! DX
