Why?
The Deadlock Locust . Run while you still can. . Giant locust. Feeds on solid protodermis. Basically the one eyed one horned flying purple people eater. But this has no horns, compound eyes, and isn't purple. And it'll actually kill you. Enjoy. The locust appears to seasonally possess the ability to produce purple pods from its body. These release strong pheromones. Instead of attracting a mate, the primary purpose of these chemicals is to stun the target, and paralyze it if given enough time and exposure. Of course, another purpose is to attract any other locust nearby to any target that has been hit with these chemicals. Another dangerous feature of the locusts is their acidic sting; their stingers form a sphere of acid and then stab the target. The effects should be obvious enough. Based on the insect aliens from Neo-Insectoids Galaxy Squad. This build specifically was somewhat inspired by the set Warp Stinger- key similarities include the stinger, pods, wings, feet, insect-like styling, and color scheme. This definitely could've been better, but frankly I quite like how it turned out. Good luck to everyone else in the BCBS this month. I'm really glad I won in December, not for the points, but so that we could see all the cool and crazy entries that this category prompted. If you missed them due to MOCpages server errors, don't forget to check out the duo! I was going to wait til tomorrow for the Locust, but I just had to post something on my birthday, eh? :P
