Why?
Crontaun . This rahi lives in the mountainous regions. It has an inner coat of insulation to battle the searing heat and blistering winters. The three horn-like protrusions on the head are and aren't what they may seem. the two horns over the "brow" are actual horns, while the middle one is a sensor that allows the creature to "see" its environment. Its wide feet stop it from sinking to both lava and snow. Because it lives in such an unpredictable climate it has evolved a way of camouflaging into both lava lakes, mountains, and polar regions. This is basically the same way a chameleon does it. It uses its enormous clawed arms to crop vegetation and to scoop small animals into its giant mouth. The club on the end of its tail is used for protection as well as to attract mates and fight for them. The females don't have such clubs. .
