New York Central J-1 Hudson Work In Progress-3 . Well Happy New Year to all! Ive had this sitting around for a while and I just recently did a bit of work on it. It still needs decals and a bunch of little fixes here and there. . One part of this I am very proud of is the sliding roof vents. They took a bit of fiddling to figure out originally. Still not completely happy with the design but Lego wont really allow what I want. This was my first purchase of BBB wheels and I am VERY satisfied. The locomotive actually fell a few times in the early building stages and the wheels were completely fine afterwards. Regrettably there arent any O-Ring grooves. Although a normal O-Scale traction tire seems to work beautifully. I shortened the nose by one stud. It is a fairly tight fit for the pilot wheels but it manages. Bare Cab. A very Model-ish feel to the battery cover. Comes off in one big piece to access the battery and receiver. Thanks for viewing. -T. Young
