Micro Modular City . . Built for the Microscale Contest in The Contest Group. The factory. This modern home was inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright. I wanted to use my clear 2x2 Brick, and the first thing that came to mind was a modern house. A small park, surrounded by a sidewalk. A sign lies on the left side of it. Yet another house. This one revolved around the use of a sideways Cheese Slope to make a pentagonal shape. I also wanted to use a different roof shape than I used for the other houses. Another nature park with a pond and some small trees. The tan house. Three small shops. Unlike the other buildings, which are all 3x3, these shops are each 3x2. A tall dark grey office building. A tall tan shop. The tall light grey building. A cafe. This cafe was built around the idea of using the Cape as the roof of a shop. The city can be separated into four 8x8 sections. These are connected via technic pins. The sections can be combined in a multitude of ways. A sample new way of arranging the sections. This configuration shows that the shape of the city can change as well as the layout of the buildings.
