WIP Previews . Hey, everyone! I'm Lindel, and I'm very new to MOCing. These are a few pictures of the projects I'm currently working on. They are some of my first MOCs ever, so obviously they aren't the best quality, but I hope that I'll grow and learn as a builder as I continue MOCing. Your feedback would be really appreciated, so please rate and comment! .
This is a concept alien species design for a story I'm planning for MOCpages. They're roughly the same height as a Minfig, but the arms are more poseable. I'm pretty pleased with how the head came out. It's really simple, but I've never seen it done before. In real life the Mola Ram helmet is going to have a lot of brown on it, but I think it will still work. The frowning Minifig face hopefully won't be too visible. =P I'm currently trying to get the pieces so I can actually build these two LDD models. They'll be part of some larger MOCs that I'm planning.
Another alien species for my upcoming sci-fi story. I'll be adding some better pics of these two LDD models soon. The legs are based on the arm design used in Brian Kescenovitz's Csek Reapers, part of Brian's incredible Dawn Forge theme, which also features some of the best LEGO Mechs I've ever seen!
I call this guy "Astromael, the Broken King". He's a huge pain to try to get a decent photo of. *Sigh.* Not knowing a thing about photography doesn't help, either. Anyway, he's a prototype for my fan-made Somniferrian Ancient. He's based on the spectacular Somniferrian Ancients done by Clever Crowe . If you haven't seen them already, I highly recommend taking a look at Clever Crowe's Somniferrian Creations. Clever's photography and building skills are breathtaking, and combined with his his great writing, these are some of my favorite Bionicle MOCs. I've worked out most of the lore surrounding Astrom, so now I just have to get around to taking some halfway decent photos of him... My writing skills may not match Clever's, but they're certainly better than my photography. =P
A close up on one of his legs.
His right forearm.
That's all for now, folks. Again, comments/ratings/criticism are greatly appreciated!
